Hot Deformation Behavior and Dynamic Recrystallization of Ultra High Strength Steel

In this paper, in order to improve the microstructure uniformity of an ultra-high strength martensitic steel with a greater than 2500 Mpa developed by multi-directional forging laboratory, single-pass hot compression experiment strain rate 0.01 1 s?1 and temperature 800 1150 °C was conducted. Based on experimental data, material parameters were determined, constitutive model considering influence work hardening, recrystallization softening dislocation density, recrystallized grain size established. After introducing into finite element software DEFORM-3D, thermal simulated, results consistent results. The rule for obtaining stock uniform refinement acquired comparing simulation results, which are helpful formulate appropriate process.
